Great resources, many free!

Date October 28, 2013 | author Posted by Andy

Many thanks to iStudio Publisher user Daniel who contacted us recently about Font Squirrel, a great place to get high-quality, commercial-use fonts, most of which are free :)

We've added this to a growing list of links on our Downloads page, which will take you to some excellent page layout related resources. It's worth a quick look every now and again!

What’s the best printing service?

Date September 12, 2013 | author Posted by Andy

Printing iStudio Publisher documents on your home or office printer may be just what you need, but for larger numbers, larger paper sizes or better print quality you may want to send your iStudio Publisher exported PDF files to a printing service. The question is which one?

Printaholic.com is a great resource to help you to choose. We first became aware of Printaholic.com when they contacted us recently with news that our babysitting service template design has been included in their selection of 15 Cool Babysitting Flyers.

Printaholic.com also invited us to write an article How To: Make a Flyer in iStudio Publisher.

Our thanks to Printaholic.com!

Win-win collaborations

Date September 4, 2013 | author Posted by Andy

Thanks to our friends at MacPhun for collaborating in a cross-promotion. We sent out a newsletter promoting a free copy of their excellent Snapheal photo editing app and they distributed an iStudio Publisher newsletter to their community.

This is a win-win situation for users of both products. The iStudio community benefits from MacPhun's generous offer and their users are introduced to iStudio Publisher.

Collaborations work best when there's synergy. Photo editing apps are certainly vital to the document design workflow for many iStudio Publisher users. We'll be careful to only participate in future cross-promos that we judge to be relevant and attractive to the majority of our community.

Please note that we take user privacy very seriously and never ever pass user information to third parties, including cross-promotion collaborators.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We'd like to take this opportunity to say a huge "Thank You" to all of our users for their invaluable contributions and suggestions over the past year.

We'll continue to provide our regular support service throughout the holiday period, although responses may be a little less prompt than usual.

Here's looking forward to the exciting features and improvements we have planned for 2013.

Our very best wishes to you all!
Andy, Chris and Ian.

iStudio Publisher websites combined into one

Date October 11, 2012 | author Posted by Chris

For some time iStudio Publisher's web presence has been split across multiple sites. We have just finished streamlining this and combining all of the functionality into one site - this one!

So, this site is now the place to go on the web for all things relating to iStudio Publisher, such as videos, templates, purchasing directly from us, and support. And of course, you can purchase the app from the Mac App Store if you prefer.

This is just the first step, and there are a lot more things to come.

We hope you like it.
Chris, Ian and Andy

Original development team now in control of iStudio Publisher

Date October 11, 2012 | author Posted by Chris

We're very excited to announce that we've recently taken over the development of iStudio Publisher in its entirety. As the original designers, developers and support team for the app, we've been intimately involved with iStudio Publisher from the outset.

We're now set to move iStudio Publisher forwards with a series of updates starting very soon.

Chris, Ian and Andy.

iStudio Publisher Users Say...

I'm grateful for all the work you've put into this program and the reasonable price! It is a great tool and it means that our non-profit organization can have quality software to produce our materials without paying a premium for software which is far more complicated than it needs to be.

Dealy

Would just like to say how easy using iStudio is. I have no experience with DTP software, and have found iStudio Publisher very intuitive. I look forward to using it a lot in the future!

Adam

I really like the program. It was fast to pick up… and the videos you have are very helpful. I have finished the presentation I got it for… and it was not much of an interruption for the learning curve. Much of it was very intuitive per my past experience with MS Publisher. I actually like this better than MS Publisher. You have done a terrific job.
